*I grabbed this post from my morning word devotional for you to enjoy.
Indians are beautiful and they are really good singers. There culture is rich and country colorful. They are spiritual and believe in the supernatural. Not all live for God but they all live for a god(s)
. Worship is celebration. They make their lives alive when they come together in community and man is community huge. Worship in India is like a new age rock concert with whistling and cheering. It gets your heart pounding.
And today, I prayed for many of my brothers here during service. I was afraid to lay my hands on another but God gave me the courage to pray for them. I recited the closing words of Andy Stanley to each of them, “Give him the wisdom to know what to do, and the courage to do it.” For each of their callings in life. To provide them full-healing and honor them for their obedience to The Lord.
I’m finding as I take on more responsibilities here with Kingdom Journeys, do freelance work, and dig deeper in my relationship with God I become overwhelmed. I used to think this was a bad thing. But not anymore. God says he will “uphold us with his righteous right hand” when we look to him for help.I find that when I live beyond my capacity I seek The Lord for help. And so far, it seems He always follows through with his promise.
Philippians 4:13 NIV
I can do everything through him who gives me strength
Psalm 18:32-34 NIV
It is God who arms me with strength and makes my way perfect. He makes my feet like the feet of a deer; he enables me to stand on the heights. He trains my hands for battle; my arms can bend a bow of bronze.
Isaiah 41:10 NIV
So do not fear for I am with you, do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand
